Project description: Metro Appliances and More is moving into the thick of things in central Springfield from its current location at 3252 N. Glenstone Ave., north of Interstate 44. The Tulsa, Oklahoma-based consumer appliance retailer has nine showrooms, including its current Springfield location, in four states – Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas. Jackie Eoff of Eoff & Associates Inc. said Metro is moving into one of four parcels her company is developing at the intersection of Erie Street and Fremont Avenue. Italian restaurant Avanzare LLC is already in operation on the site, with its central pond, and Metro Appliances is the second project in the works. Two other parcels are located to the east of the pond and are available for prospective build-to-suit tenants.

I surely do wish they would move some where that would be easier to enter and exit. That will be a terrible location for a furniture/ appliance store. Traffic is always backed up in both directions most of the day. I do wish them luck, but now that congestion will just get worse.
