Description: The newest addition to the Southwest Missouri Rail and Business Park is the Lot 8 speculative warehouse. The sixth building to go up in the Strafford industrial park, the warehouse is 120 feet by 270 feet with a height clearance of 26 feet. It features one 12-by-14-foot drive-in door and four 8-by-9-foot dock doors with the option to add four additional dock doors, according to Rand Youngblood, project manager with Rich Kramer Construction Inc. Youngblood said the building will have LED lighting and five 300,000 Btu heaters, and interior office infill can be added when a tenant signs on. He added that two more buildings will be going up in the park, starting within the next month. The sales brochure for the business park by R.B. Murray Co. shows 500,000 square feet currently under roof with another 250,000 square feet scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023. Lots range from 3 acres to a combined 100-plus acres, according to the brochure.
