Project description: This assisted living facility will be licensed for 29 beds and 25 units to provide personal care and nursing services to the elderly. Administrator Michelle Ashley-Herring said the available services will include medication administration, physical therapy, housekeeping, laundry, meals and recreational activities. The two-acre tract will allow for an outside sitting area and recreational opportunities. It is the fifth Americare Systems center built in the Springfield area by the Sikeston-based company. The 20-year-old company has more than 70 centers in Missouri, Tennessee and Kansas.
