Project description: This "new generation" La-Z-Boy store is a company-wide mandate, according to local franchise owner Wayne Wickstrom. The new look features expanded lines, including accessories, and targets a younger age group. The company is trying to "present La-Z-Boy to a broader-based age group," he said, starting at age 25 and up. The 15,000-square-foot showroom will display living room and family room items such as sofas, loveseats, entertainment centers, armoires, end tables and coffee tables, as well as lamps and wall hangings. Wickstrom said this is the 14th store of its kind. La-Z-Boy plans to convert all 305 of its North American stores in five years.
