Project description: The La Quinta Inn & Suites is underway by Branson-based GS Hospitality LLC, which comprises Gary Shaver, who had worked for five years on parts of nearby Top of the Rock, and Arkansas financial partner Sam Bailey, according to Shelly Miller, director of sales for O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC. O’Reilly Hospitality will manage the four-story, 94-room property, she said. Features include thicker than normal walls filled with down insulation to block out noise from the adjacent U.S. Highway 65. According to Miller, each guestroom will include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Construction of a Menards home improvement store is just beginning to the east of the hotel.
