Project description: A 20,400-square-foot addition to the NBC affiliate's studio and office will make room for the KSPR-33 news team and staff, which KY3 officials have managed since August 2007. Springfield-based Perkin Media owns KSPR's Federal Communications Commission license, and KY3 Inc. owns the ABC station's hard assets. The new space is largely KSPR's newsroom and studio, though a community room and an emergency electrical generation system to prevent broadcast interruption during power failures are also in the plans.[[In-content Ad]]Compiled by Jim Versemann.
