Project description: With Kum & Go's acquisition last month of Cody's Convenience Stores, this location brings the number of Kum & Go stores in southwest Missouri to 71, according to Meggan Kring, Kum & Go's director of communications. The new store includes a 1,353-square-foot tenant space, which has not yet been leased, and 16 fueling stations with unleaded, super unleaded, premium, diesel and E85 fuels. The company's commitment to energy-efficient design led to the use of heavily insulated glass, cooler doors with light-emitting diodes and energy-efficient coolers, Kring said. The store, which will operate 24 hours a day, also will sell propane, snacks and drinks. Foods prepared in-house will include hot wings, chicken and pizza.
