Project description: The wood structure rising at the corner of Battlefield Road and Carver Street is a new office building for Weston Kissee, an Edward Jones financial adviser. According to Nesbitt Construction officials, the building is designed with a modern aesthetic to feature glass curtain walls, fiber cement siding and soffits, metal wall and roof panels, and a section of asphalt shingles. They add that natural light and a vaulted ceiling are intended to accentuate the clean lines and modern finishes that are representative of a financial office. Kissee has been a general partner of financial services company Edward Jones since 2018, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
