Project description: An expansion of CMH’s Kerry and Synda Douglas Medical Center in Bolivar will bring the total size to 120,000 square feet. CMH Marketing Director Tamera Heitz-Peek said the project includes four new surgical and physician office suites, an endoscopic lab and imaging center, as well as renovations to the pre- and post-op area. Funded by a USDA rural-development loan, the expansion also comprises the Women’s Center, the Wound and Hyperbaric Center, and space to relocate surgical services and the information services department, Heitz-Peek said.
