Project description: The health center, which caters to low-income patients, will move its West Kearney Street clinic into this space in the former L.E. Cox Building, which also houses the Springfield Crime Lab that opened in December. Contractors gutted two floors on the building's north side and are renovating the space to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold certification standards; for instance, glass curtain walls allow natural light to create energy efficiencies. The clinic will have 50 exam rooms initially and will house adult and pediatric medical services, the Women, Infants and Children program, behavioral health services and a pharmacy.[[In-content Ad]]
