Project description: The church, which was founded in 1909, is undergoing additions for a gymnasium and fellowship hall, kitchen area, classrooms and bathrooms with showers. Pastor Fred Luper said the addition will aid in targeting its children and youth outreach ministries. "We want to do more for the youth and the community," Luper said. "It's a multipurpose space." The kitchen area will facilitate feeding the youth and after-school program groups, he added. The classrooms will provide Sunday school and small group Bible study space. The project also will increase the church's paved parking space.
