Project description: Local IHOP franchisee Chris Kennon of Kenco Inc. is building his fourth Missouri restaurant. Kennon owns two in Springfield and one in Columbia. Branson's IHOP, set to open in early April, will employ approximately 85, Kennon said. The project is partially financed with a U.S. Small Business Administration-backed loan in the amount of $1,072,000. Kennon also is negotiating for the franchise rights to Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City, Springfield, Ill., and Paducah, Ky.
