Project description: The grocery store is modeled after Harter House’s Hollister store. It was designed with the company’s focus on its meat department service in mind with sufficient room for staff to work behind the counter. Weather has delayed the grocery store’s opening, which was originally scheduled for April. Store co-owner Butch Bettlach said the opening should be in late June or mid-July. The Nixa store, which cost the Bettlachs $2.5 million, including the land, will be the grocery chain’s sixth location, and the fourth owned by Butch Bettlach and his family. Butch, wife Lisa, and sons Andrew, Bradley and Jacob currently own stores in Hollister, Strafford and Kimberling City.
