Project description: Relocating from Atlantic Street, the new church building is designed with a 400-seat auditorium, 13 classrooms, a coffee shop, kitchen and offices on 21 acres adjacent to Highway 13. Hamlin Baptist’s previous campus is turning into the Springfield Dream Center, run through North Point Church, to meet basic food, clothing and education needs in northwest Springfield. “We have been serving the Woodland Heights Neighborhood in north Springfield for over 100 years,” said Sharon Andrews, a ministry assistant. The congregation meets in the Dream Center until construction is complete.
