Project description: Under construction is Great Southern Bank's second Nixa location, and 29th throughout southwest and central Missouri. According to Kelly Polonus, director of corporate communications, the Nixa branch at 717 W. Mt. Vernon is one of the best performing banks in the company. "This site was selected as this part of Nixa is a high-growth area and it will give customers added convenience," Polonus said. The new full-service facility will offer checking accounts, saving and investment accounts, consumer and business loans, safe deposit boxes, four teller drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM.
