Project description: Project architect Jon Dodd said this two-story office building creates additional space and a different style for Fortner Insurance, an independent insurance agency for regional and national companies. The building expands onto a lot to the west previously occupied by a vacant rental home. The 1950s modern architecture of the office was converted to an Old World, French Country style to provide a more inviting, residential feel for customers, Dodd said. Part of the renovation included closing off an old entry and creating a wider main entry with front-door parking.
