Project description: Flooring Systems Inc. is building a storefront at the corner of West Kearney Street and North Golden Avenue. Designs call for a showroom, administrative offices and warehousing space, said Geoffrey Butler, a partner at project architect BRP Architects. The flooring contracting company had leased its current storefront, on East Kearney Street, for an undisclosed rate for six years, said FSI Vice President Greg Young. Based in St. Louis, the company sells carpet, wood and ceramic flooring to commercial and residential customers, with a third office in Farmington. The Springfield division works strictly in commercial.
