Project description: FedEx's service center includes about 8,000 square feet of office space, a 13,000-square-foot maintenance facility, a fuel island and 156 service doors, according to Rob Phillips, project manager with Rich Kramer Construction. The 55-acre project site will allow for building and parking expansion. FedEx officials have said the facility will boost local loading capacity by about 60 percent. Setzer Properties is developing the site to FedEx specifications and will lease the freight distribution center back to the company.Compiled by Maria Hoover.
