Project description: Springfield is getting a four-story Marriott-branded hotel near the intersection of National Avenue and Battlefield Road. Element by Westin is expected to be completed in late summer. The 123-room hotel will “represent eco-conscious amenities, flowing multipurpose areas and deliver an innovative guest experience,” said Bryan Properties Chief Financial Officer Brad Gebhard in past Springfield Business Journal reporting. Offering extended and long-term stay options and designed as a boutique concept, Element’s rooms come in multiple layouts and include kitchens, according to its website. Existing Missouri hotels under the Element brand are in the Kansas City and St. Louis markets.
