Project description: Construction is wrapping up on a Domino’s restaurant slated to open by Dec. 27. Franchisee Art Hurteau of A&M Pizza Inc., which operates seven local stores, said the new location will expand delivery services in northwest Springfield with a staff of 30-40 people. Designs include a pickup window and indoor seating. Hurteau said the estimated construction cost is around $730,000, with the total project investment exceeding $1 million. The A&M Pizza franchise group, which includes partner Marty Prather, currently operates 16 Domino’s across southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. The Chestnut Expressway store will be the group’s 32nd Domino’s in the nation, Hurteau said, noting additional stores are in Illinois and Indiana.
A franchise store of a Branson West-based quilting business made its Queen City debut; Grateful Vase launched in Lebanon; and Branson entertainment venue The Social Birdy had its grand opening.
