Project description: DMP Marketing Director Mark Hillenburg said the expansion is taking place in three sections at the security and technology company’s Partnership Industrial Center headquarters. The largest is for a 36,000-square-foot warehouse and manufacturing addition. A second 28,000-square-feet portion is dedicated to engineering and marketing offices, and a national sales meeting room. Hillenburg said another 8,000 square feet on the north side of the building is slated for technical support and an expanded customer call center. Currently at 120,000 square feet, the expansion plans include hiring roughly 65 people. Founded in 1975, the company employs about 230 in Springfield and 280 companywide. Hillenburg said there are currently two dozen full-time job openings.
