Project description: Day’s Floor Co. co-owner David Day is serving as general contractor for a building nearly double the size of the flooring company’s current Marshfield facility, which is located next door. The steel-framed building will have a façade of brick and rock, Day said. A 4,000-square-foot showroom, with 12-foot ceilings, will more than double the amount of showroom space, he said, and 4,500 square feet of warehouse space will triple current storage capacity. Upon completion, the company will move operations and lease its current building, Melody Day said. The company closed its Springfield store, 611 W. Plainview Road, in March.
