Project description: Designed to house 224 students, the Daryl and Lois Flood Residence Hall is expected to open in time for the fall semester at Evangel University. Plans for the fully accessible four-story building include 116 student rooms, eight single-occupancy rooms for resident assistants and a two-bedroom, two-bath resident director’s suite. According to a project description on Evangel’s website, amenities will include separate men’s and women’s laundry rooms, a meeting room, two indoor terraces, and designated movie, prayer and study rooms. The Here. Now capital campaign that is funding the new residence hall has also paid for the construction of the Valor Center sports complex that includes the Randy Rowden Training Facility, the renovation of the Walther Hall dormitory and the construction of a light intramural turf field, Evangel officials say.
