The academy will be a school for children in grades K-3, with additional grade levels to be added in the future, according to Crossway’s website, which adds that accreditation is being sought through the Association of Christian Schools International. Dustin Hemsworth, senior project manager with Federal Construction Inc., said the addition is a preengineered metal building constructed slab on grade, and the existing building is undergoing 4,000 square feet of renovations. Church offices are also to be housed in the new wing.
