Project description: Cox South's emergency department will move to the new Lipscomb Family Wing. The project, which will more than double the department's bed capacity to 62, is financed by 2008 bonds and a donation by the Lipscomb family. The addition also will house four dedicated adult trauma bays, one pediatric trauma bay, a 26-bed cardiac monitored observation unit, a full radiology suite, a small laboratory and pharmacy, and two psychiatric safe rooms.[[In-content Ad]]Springfield Business Journal brings you new projects each week.
