Project description: Tom Plemones and son-in-law Tim Carey, owners of Rogersville’s Compass Builders, have been creating Compass Plaza since January 2003. Now, only eight units of the nine-acre center’s 30 units remain under construction and available for lease, according to Plemones. Current tenants include a day care, beauty shop, drycleaner and dance studio. The final eight units, 1,200 square feet each, have lease rates of $7.50 to $9 per square foot.
