Project description: The project includes site redevelopment and the construction of two buildings with the help of Federal Transit Administration funds and matching dollars from City Utilities, according to CU Director of Marketing and Communications Mark Viguet. The 26,200-square-foot larger building is designed for bus storage. The 7,300-square-foot smaller structure is being constructed as a washing and fueling station, Viguet said. CJW Transportation Consultants performed site development and surveying work, and Houston, Texas-based Maintenance Design Group has served as CU’s fleet maintenance consultant.
