Project description: Owner Cameron Roy is letting his lease expire at Buckingham’s current Nixa site, 112 E. Mount Vernon St., and moving to the west side of Mount Vernon Street. The Liberty Bank-financed project is designed to seat 150 diners, according to Roy, who also owns one Buckingham’s in Springfield at 2415 N. Glenstone Ave. The fast-casual restaurant’s menu includes barbecue ribs, salads and sandwiches. Roy said the Nixa eatery also would feature a drive-through, a full-service bar and a patio.
