Project description: The new Broadway Baptist Church will have a 1,500-seat sanctuary with a 150-seat choir section and space for a 40-piece orchestra, according to Charles Woolard, building chairman for the church. There will be a Family Life Center featuring a gymnasium, kitchen and platform area, he said. One wing will be dedicated completely to children, including 12 classrooms and four specialized rooms for infants. Another wing will hold 15 adult classrooms.
