Project description: The new Broadway Baptist Church will have a 1,500-seat sanctuary with a 150-seat choir section and space for a 40-piece orchestra, according to Charles Woolard, building chairman for the church. There will be a Family Life Center featuring a gymnasium, kitchen and platform area, he said. One wing will be dedicated completely to children, including 12 classrooms and four specialized rooms for infants. Another wing will hold 15 adult classrooms. Woolard said another smaller chapel area would have space for 150 people.
