Project description: An agricultural career education facility is in the progress of being constructed from the ground up for Bolivar High School, according to Branco Enterprises officials. The building is approximately 8,300 square feet with an additional 900-square-foot mezzanine. The project includes a welding shop with multiple welding stations, compressors and computer numerical control machines. Additionally, the building is designed to include three vocational classrooms, restrooms and office and storage areas, Branco officials say. School officials note on the Proposition Liberators R-1 bond website that interior construction work of walls, utilities and finishes continues in the building. The district website notes that 68% of voters approved the $11 million bond issue that is funding construction of the agricultural career education building, as well as classroom, playground and restroom expansions at other district properties.
