Project description: Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks CEO Katie Davis said expansion plans had been on hold for two years while funds were raised for the construction that began Oct. 31. In addition to private donations, J.E. Dunn Construction, JAJ Construction, Artisan Construction, Ireland Architects, Toth and Associates, and Pond Creek Designs donated their services. The expansion to its 3,500-square-foot building will provide space for administrative staff and support services for the 1,300 matches the nonprofit facilitates annually – an 85 percent increase compared to five years ago. Davis said 100 percent of the cost of construction was funded through donations.[[In-content Ad]]
