Project description: More than 189,000 square feet of space is being reenvisioned in the renovation of the Assemblies of God National Office, which has been in Springfield for more than a century. The organization sought to create a modern and inviting campus for visitors from all over the globe to come and learn about their ministries, according to design officials. One component of that is a new modern entry on the south side, a move from its previous location on its east side facing Boonville Avenue. The building is also undergoing a facelift, with the replacement of its existing exterior facades with new, efficient window systems, completely changing the outward appearance of the building that was formerly light blue.
