Project description: An addition to Ash Grove High School includes the construction of new administrative offices and classrooms. The media center and library are being connected to a new laboratory, said Robert Rayl, senior vice president with general contractor Varsity Contractors Inc. The project is funded through $3.8 million in school bonds – approved in April 2009 – which also cover an approximately $600,000, 4,475-square-foot classroom addition for the district’s elementary school in Bois D’Arc. Varsity Contractors also is general contractor for the elementary school expansion.
