Project description: St. Peters-based Arrowhead Building Supply, a distributor and wholesaler of exterior building supplies and materials, is relocating its Strafford center to Springfield in September. Sales Manager Rick Pogue said the company sells 80 percent of its products direct to contractors and 20 percent in retail. The 5,000-square-foot showroom is designed to replicate a street with two 12-by-15-foot homes displaying the company’s products. The store, Arrowhead Building Supply’s sixth, also will feature a drive-through for customers who place call-in orders. With the move, Arrowhead is making a $3 million capital investment, including equipment purchases and doubling its staff to around 20.
