Project description: The family-owned appliance and furniture rental store will more than double its floor space when it moves just down the street from its 1305 E. Kearney St. storefront. The Springfield All-American Rental store is one of four owned by Scott and Liz Mitchell, who entered the rent-to-own business in 1986. The Mitchells, whose sons work in management, also run stores in Ozark, Nixa and Joplin. "We're looking forward to the next 20 to 30 years, trying to be prepared for the future," Scott Mitchell said. General contractor Bob Vanommeren of Highlandville-based Heritage Construction said the building is constructed with pre-engineered metal and will have a glass storefront, open showroom and offices.Springfield Business Journal brings you new projects each week.
