French fry shortage at McDonald's in Venezuela

McDonald's is having potato problems in Venezuela.

The company is finding itself under attack both for not selling French fries — and for selling them.

Hours after The Associated Press reported Tuesay McDonald's ran out of fries at its Venezuelan franchises, state-sponsored television network Telesur posted a story headlined "McDonald's Joins Economic War against Venezuela."
