For five years, Google hasn't charged a dime for its Google Photos service. That changes next year when uers exceed 15 gigabytes stored, officials with the tech company say.
The change is effective June 1, 2021, officials say, so any images uploaded through May will not count against the 15GB limit. Officials expect 80% of users to remain under the limit for the next three years before they'd be charged for the storage.
