Free live music will be offered at many venues on Commercial, including at the C-Street Market, to promote the planned C-Street Arts and Entertainment District.
The service, which begins with tonight’s First Friday events, will run 6:30-10:30 p.m., traveling south on Jefferson Avenue, west on Walnut Street, north on Campbell Avenue and east on Commercial Street back to Jefferson.
Pick-ups will take place every 15 minutes at the four corner stops and at two designated free parking areas: the parking lot at Pacific Street and Campbell Avenue, and the Cox North parking lot at Jefferson Avenue and Division Street.
Riders also will be asked to fill out a survey to gather feedback and creative ideas for a future center city loop. The information will be used to gauge interest in a fixed but flexible transit route to link the two areas.
