Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

General contractor Cornerstone Building Services LLC is putting the finishing touches on the first Branson franchise of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers for Wichita-based franchise developer 3 Pointe Restaurant Group LLC. The 3,232-square-foot restaurant is set to open Nov. 5. and will seat 102 diners in an environment that includes exposed trusses, said owner and CEO Jamie Rheem. The eatery also will have a drive-through. Wichita-based Winter Architects is the architect for the project, and another Wichita firm, MKEC Engineering Consultants Inc., is the structural engineer. St. Charles-based Picket, Ray and Silver Inc. is the civil engineer, and Shawnee, Kan.-based BC Engineers Inc. is mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. HVAC work is by Lebanon-based Airtech LLC, with electrical work by Branson-based Castro Electric. The project, with an estimated construction cost of $1 million, is self-financed by 3 Pointe Restaurant Group.
