A fraud trial involving Nikola founder Trevor Milton started Monday.
Milton is accused of allegedly defrauding investors with false claims about the automaker's ability to make trucks that run on electricity or hydrogen fuel cells.
The company's promotional campaign brought its stock price as high as $66 per share in June 2020. The stock now is trading below $5.50 per share.
