Mutual fund company Franklin Templeton has agreed to buy crypto investment firm 250 Digital.
The company will join the newly established Franklin Crypto unit.
“Institutions are becoming much more intentional in how they engage with digital assets,” Sandy Kaul, head of innovation at Franklin Templeton, told CNBC. “This deal fits naturally into that broader shift."
