Apple supplier Foxconn Technology Group is in talks to build a $9 billion factory in Saudi Arabia, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
If built, the factory may make microchips, electric-vehicle components and other electronics.
Foxconn also is talking with the United Arab Emirates about potentially building the factory there, one of the sources said.
