Fox News sued for alleged racial discrimination

Posted online
Fox News Network has been sued over allegations of racial discrimination.

Two black women, Tichaona Brown and Tabrese Wright, sued the network this week claiming they and “other dark-skinned employees suffered yearslong racial animus” from Judith Slater, a former senior vice president and company controller.

According to the lawsuit, Slater allegedly “ridiculed black employees by mocking stereotyped speech” and forcing them to pronounce the words ‘mother,’ ‘father,’ ‘month’ and ‘ask’ correctly “in front of white employees.”

The company is accused of firing Brown and demoting Wright after learning of the allegations.
