Fox News CEO resigns

Amid sexual harassment allegations, Fox news Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes has resigned.

His departure, effective immediately, ends a 20-year tenure running the cable news channel.

Rupert Murdoch, the 85-year-old patriarch of parent company 21st Century Fox, stepped in to serve as the channel's chairman and acting CEO.
