Media giant 21st Century Fox announced plans to launch an Arabic-language channel in the Middle East.
Fox Rewayat, which means "stories," will be the first Fox-branded channel to broadcast in Arabic.
Fox Network Group, the international TV subsidiary of 21st Century Fox, additionally will produce original content for viewers in the Middle East.
The company has an existing lineup of 12 channels in the region.
