Four tech giants setting up database for terrorist content

Four of the world's biggest tech companies are creating a shared database to crack down on terrorist content on their platforms.

Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft and Google's YouTube say the database will help them track and remove "violent terrorist imagery or terrorist recruitment videos."

According to a statement Monday, the database will have digital "fingerprints" allows the tech firms to more efficiently identify the images and videos for removal.
