Four STL businesses ordered to close over COVID-19 rule violations

Four St. Louis businesses have been ordered to close temporarily over violations of coronavirus rules.

The Wheelhouse bar and restaurant, the Start Bar, the Marquee Restaurant & Lounge, and Big Daddy’s were ordered to halt operations for two weeks, according to a mayoral spokesperson.

Over the weekend, videos surfaced of unmasked bar patrons defying social distancing rules, including one that appeared to be from the Wheelhouse.

That's too bad. I understand the thinking to protect people, but cringe at gov't forcing businesses to shut down. I hope it's still a free country when my kids get older.
