Four finalists named for Joplin city manager

Joplin City Council has named four finalists for its open city manager position, the Joplin Regional Business Journal reports.

Selected from over 40 applicants, the finalists are Sam Anselm, the current interim city manager for Joplin; Dean Kruithof, the former city manager for Branson; Stephen Rasmussen, vice president of Interim Solutions LLC in Jefferson City; and Randy Wetmore, city manager for Marshalltown, Iowa.

Interviews and driving tours with the candidates are scheduled to take place on Oct. 24, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1.
