Certified public accounting firm FORVIS LLP, which operates its Springfield office at 910 St. Louis St., entered a deal to buy the assets of a North Carolina firm.
The deal for Charlotte-based ConTech360, which provides construction technology services, is expected to close this fall, according to a news release. The financial terms were undisclosed.
"The strategic acquisition will further solidify the firm’s commitment to innovation and tailored client service in the construction technology sector," FORVIS officials said in the release.
ConTech360’s two managing partners, Jim Wagner and Steve Maddox, are slated to join FORVIS as managing directors.
As announced last year, FORVIS this summer is slated to join with Paris-based international audit, tax and advisory firm Mazars Group to create a network called Forvis Mazars.
