Former Wells Fargo CEO sues company for $34M

Former Wells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan has filed suit against the company.

Sloan has accused the company of allegedly failing to pay him more than $34 million in withheld compensation after he resigned in 2019.

Sloan resigned amid a wide-ranging sales practices scandal. In a statement regarding the lawsuit, company officials said that "compensation decisions are based on performance, and we stand by our decisions in this matter."
